2020 Schumpeter Prize Competition

The International Joseph Alois Schumpeter Society, ISS, is pleased to announce the 2020 Schumpeter Prize Competition. The prize is awarded every two years in recognition of a recent scholarly contribution related to Schumpeter’s work. It carries a cash award of about 10,000 EURO.

Schumpeterian Perspectives on Radical Change: Robotics, Artificial Intelligence and Broad Societal Transformations has been designated by the managing board of the society as the topic for the 2020 competition.

Deadline: March 1 at midnight Central European Time.

Works submitted must be either unpublished or published subsequent to June 1, 2018. Submissions may be of article or book length. There is no page or format specification. Submissions will be judged by a committee headed by the President-Elect of the Society.
The winner will be announced and the award made at the congress of the society at the Luiss University, Rome, Italy.

Submissions should be sent as an original and four additional copies to the administrative office of the ISS:
